Briefly introduces the new progress and achievement of international off shore engineering technology during the last few years. It mainly includes: The research and development of tension leg platform (TLP), spar platform(SP), floating production storage offloading system (FPSO) and very large floating structure (VLFS). Some improvements and developments of traditional offshore engineering technology are also mentioned and discussed.
