摘要
由于受生态环境、社会历史等方面的影响,英汉民族在思维方式上各有侧重,汉民族重具象思维、综合思维、本体型思维以及顺向思维,而英美民族偏向抽象思维、分析思维、客体型思维以及逆向思维。思维模式的不同引起了英汉习语表达方式的差异。在习语翻译过程中,应充分考虑这一因素,使译文能符合目的语的思维模式。
Due to the influences of ecological environment and social history, both nations of Chines and English lay particular emphasis on thinking modes differently. Chinese pay special,attention to concrete, comperhensive and subjective thinking, while Westerners prefer thinking abstractly, analytically,abjectively and inversely,which results in the different expressions in both languages. In translation, this factor should be taken into accohnt to make the translation appropriate.
