摘要
提出使用环境集约度变化指数(Environmental intensity change index,EICI)作为企业环境操作绩效评价的基准.在阐述了EICI的优点的基础上,利用200多家日本企业的数据检验了EICI及基于EICI的评价在不同行业间的可比性.结果表明EICI及基于EICI的评价在不同行业间具有可比性,表明EICI是一个公平合理的企业环境操作绩效评价基准.
The paper proposes to use the environmental intensity change index （EICI） as a measure of environmental operational performance. After making an exposition of the advantages of EICI, this paper empirically examines the comparability of EICI and the evaluation based on it across different sectors by using the actual data collected from over 200 Japanese companies. The results confirm that EICI and the evaluation based on it are comparable across companies from different sectors; mdicating that EICI is a fair and reasonable measure of environmental operational performance.
