摘要
自上个世纪50年代电子音乐诞生之初起,加拿大的严肃电子音乐就一直以一种持续稳定的步伐向前发展。它在加拿大国内的音乐生活中占据着极为重要的地位,其覆盖面之广、活跃度之高,与法国、德国、英国、美国等电子音乐起步较早的国家相比,毫不逊色。其近20余年来的发展动态,基本上较全面地反映在加拿大有声网络期刊“eContact!”上。而对“eContact!1”1998年4期内容的观察,使我们能深入地了解1998年加拿大严肃电子音乐的发展动态,全面地认识加拿大严肃电子音乐在创作对象、创作媒介、创作风格以及技术手段等各方面的特点。
