Expression of Snail in pancreatic carcinoma and its relation with epitheliai-mesenchymai transformation

摘要 目的观察上皮-间叶转化(EMT)的标记分子在胰腺癌组织中的表达情况以及与胰腺癌恶性生物学行为的相关性。方法采用免疫组织化学的方法检测56例胰腺癌组织中Snail、上皮源性标记物E-cadherin、间叶源性标记物Vimentin蛋白的表达,并与临床病理资料作对照分析。结果56例胰腺癌组织中Snail阳性表达率为36%(20/56),26例中观察到E-cadherin表达的降低,同时6例观察到Vimentin表达上调。Snail的表达和淋巴结转移(P<0.05)、远处转移(P<0.01)、E-cadherin的表达降低(P<0.05)、Vimentin的高表达(P<0.05)都存在着相关性。而E- cadherin表达的降低和Vimentin的高表达都与胰腺癌的转移存在着明显的相关性。结论Snail在胰腺癌组织中存在着重新表达的现象,Snail可能通过调控上皮一间叶转化从而在胰腺癌的侵袭过程中发挥重要作用。 Objective To investigate the expression of epithelial-mesenchumal transformation (EMT)-related markers in pancreatic cancer (PC) tissues and its relation with the malignant features. Methods The expression of Snail, E-cadherin and vimentin proteins in 56 eases of pancreatic cancer tissues was detected by using immunohistochemistry and compared with clinicopathological data. Results Snail was detected in 20 eases (36%) of PC. The expression of E-cadherin was reduced in 26 eases and vimentin was up-regulated in 6 cases of PC. The expression of Snail was significantly related with the lymph node metastasis (P〈0.05), distant metastasis ( P〈0.01 ), the reduced expression of E-cadherin ( P〈0.05) and the the increased expression of vimentin (P 〈0.05). Conclusion Re-expression of Snail in pancreatic cancer may accelerate invasion of PC through EMT.
