In the 1 lth Five-Year Plan period, Shaanxi will speed up the construction of Shaanbei and Guanzhong two thermal power bases, push forward the cascade development of Hanjiang River and actively promote the pre-engineering work of the Yellow River＇s main stream hydropower development. Stress will be placed on the construction of Fugumiao Goumen, Qingshuichuan, Binchang Coal and power integration projects and Tongchuan, Hancheng No.2 phase Ⅱ, Pucheng phase Ⅲ, Baoji No. 2 phase Ⅱ generation projects as well as Xihe, Shuhe, Xunyang cascade hydropower stations. Additionally, Shaanxi will advance the construction of 110-kV and 330-kV power network in an all-round way and 750-kV and 1000-kV transmission projects in good time.
