论维新派与洋务派的“中学”与“西学”之争

摘要 在中国近代教育史上,“中学”与“西学”的论争是贯穿始终的课题。甲午中日战争结束以后,维新派和洋务派根据各自的出发点,在“中学”与“西学”方面进行了一场针锋相对的思想论争。这场论争增强了人们向西方学习的勇气和信心,加速了封建教育制度的破产和崩溃,直接推动了中国教育近代化的进程。 In the contemporary Chinese history of education, the dispute of "Chinese learning" and "western learning" was always a topic. After the failure of the Sino-Japan War in 1894, westernizationists and reformists started a sharp dispute on "Chinese learning" and "Western learning" according to their own motivations and aims. This dispute enhanced Chinese people's courage and confidence of learning from western countries, accelerated the collapse of the feudal educational system and directly promoted the process of the modernization of Chinese education.
