摘要
语言是文化的载体,任何一种语言都鲜明的反映着与其相应的文化。英语和汉语是两种完全不同的语言体系,体现的是两种完全不同的文化体系。从文化理念论述英汉两种习语,探索其范围与特征,渊源与构成及从东西方的文化差异引发出英汉习语的相同与相悖。有助于对习语的精确理解和把握。
This paper expounds both English and Chinese idioms from the cultural concepts completdy and systematically, exploring its range and characteristic, the origin and formation, the similarity and dissimilarity reflected in English and Chinese idioms due to the cultural difference between the east and the west. It contributes to the accurate understanding and mastery over idioms.
