摘要
为提高TCP协议在长时延、高差错率网络中的性能,探测元机制做为一种主动自适应机制,在TCP的许多改进实现中被涉及。详细阐述了探测元机制的原理和具体应用,并在NS仿真中实现了该机制。理论分析和仿真实验显示,在TCP中引入探测元机制,能有效提高长时延、高差错率网络的吞吐量。
In order to increase the performance of TCP( Transport Control Protocol) in networks with long propagation delay and high link error rates, detection unit scheme, an active and self_adaptive scheme, has been involved in many implementations for TCP improvement. This paper gives a minute discussion about the concept and application of detection unit scheme and implements it in NS. Both the theoretic analysis and simulation experiments show that it will greatly improve the throughput after introducing detction unit scheme in long_propagation_delay and high_link_error_rate network.
