The Book of Filial Piety provides valuable messages concerning the targets and the contents of university moral education, including such ideas as universal love, virtuous righteousness, interpersonal respect and ceremonial worship; and it also provides significant contents conceming the principles and the methods of university moral education, including such elements as gradual advancement, instruction that best fits the nature of the educated, and enlightening input.
