摘要
一本文所指下扬子地区主要是包括江苏省、上海市、及部分安徽省、浙江省在内的长江下游及其附近地区。这一地区人口稠密、工业发达,地学研究程度颇高,同时也是我国中强地震较多的地区之一。对该地区地震构造的研究始于1970年长江口地震。近20年内,无论是地震监测能力还是地震研究程度都有了显著的进步,这主要是通过以下几方面的工作来实现的:
In this paper, the present author summarized some obtained common achnowledge of research on seismotectonics in Lower Yangtse region, pointed out the insufficient, and propbsed some questions which are worth robe carefully considered and some possible ways for resolving them.
