摘要
在晚清,劣绅大量地出现。20世纪初以后,劣绅有从个体性向整体性蜕化的趋向。通过描述劣绅的表现形式和主要发生的场域,指出绅士劣质化的扩大甚至整体性蜕变,特别是在乡村社会,表现尤为明显。重点分析绅士劣质化与社会变迁的互动关系,认为劣绅作为绅士阶层的异质具有重要的象征意义,产生了相当大的社会负影响,并从社会变动角度来阐释绅士整体性蜕变的根本性原因。
The number of Evildoing Gentry has emmerced in the late Qing.After the early 20^(th) century there is degenerating trend about Evildoing Gentry's changeable process from individual to entirety.The paper not only describes Evildoing Gentry's forms and main fields of action,but points out the enlargement of Gentry's degenerating process in which this phenomenon is evident especially in the village well.The paper stresses mutual relation between Gentry's degenerating process and social change, at the same time thinks evildoing Gentry as the alienation of Gentry's class embodying important meaning, which has a lot of bad influences to society.The paper explains basic causes about the Evildoing Gentry's degenerating trend as a complete whole based on the theory of social change.
