摘要
本文通过对甘、宁地区强震空间分布及其与活动断裂、深部构造的关系研究,给出了划定本区潜在震源区的突出标志,并给定了震级上限的确定原则。
The spatial distribution of earthquakes and its relation to the active faults and geophysical fields is applied to divide the potential earthquake sources (PES) in the area of Gansu Province-Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in western China. The method to estimate the upper limit of magnitudes of PES is also proposed.
