摘要
针对当前人才市场上对既懂专业又熟悉外语的高素质人才需求量的增多这一现状,提出了一种培养工科高年级学生英语应用能力的教学模式,该模式分作三个阶段:导入阶段、提高阶段和强化阶段,即将英语学习继续贯穿在专业基础课、专业外语及双语教学课程的学习过程中,并通过在实践环节中的应用循序渐进地培养学生的英语应用能力。以此培养专业能力和外语水平俱佳的复合型人才,以适合现代社会对人才的要求。
